Steering Committee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Steering Committee of the Alpine Soil Partnership consists of the chair and the pillar leaders. Additionally, Mr Thomas Peham (Austria) acts as a link to the Alpine Convention Soil Working Group.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooperation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Alpine Soil Partnership works in close cooperation with the\u00a0Soil Protection Working Group of the Alpine Convention<\/a>\u00a0and implements joint projects.<\/mark> The Alpine Soil Partnership is part of the FAO’s Global Soil Partnership its regional branch, the European Soil Partnership.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Alpine Soil Partnership was established in the course of the Interreg Alpine Space project Links4Soils (2016-2020). The Coordination Unit of the Alpine Soil Partnership was financed in the years 2021-2022 by the Austrian Ministry for Climate Action<\/mark> (BMK). Since its official ending, the Chair, the Steering Committee, and the Alpine Soil Partners have been taking part in the Alpine Soil Partnership activities pro bono.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n
